UN Security Council to hold emergency meeting to address Ebola epidemic

NEW YORK.— The UN Security Council will hold an emergency meeting September 18, with the objective of coming to agreement on a worldwide response to the Ebola outbreak in western Africa, according to U.S. ambassador to the UN, Samantha Power, who currently presides the Council.
