Greater progress expected in 2015

With President Raúl Castro presiding, the National Assembly’s approximately 600 deputies, representing the country’s 168 municipalities, reviewed and approved the 2015 State Budget and Economic Plan, and expressed their gratitude to parliamentarians around the world who supported the cause of the Cuban Five. Raúl closed the final session reiterating that Cuba will never renounce the ideas for which it has struggled.
