
Timely and precise analysis has characterized the debate among deputies underway in commissions, prior to the start of National Assembly plenary sessions, set to begin Friday, July 8.
Among issues addressed in the Services commission were proposed legal norms to guide private management of restaurant, personal and technical service providers, including guidelines for the leasing of state properties and wholesale prices for supplies.
The National Defense commission discussed joint efforts to control mosquito-born diseases by the ministries of Public Health, the Interior, and the Revolutionary Armed Forces. Among other important topics were mitigation of effects of drought and water conservation.
Deputies in the Industry, Construction and Energy commission focused on the development of renewable resources and rational use of electricity, among other issues.
