The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, accompanied by Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, yesterday received in a solemn ceremony, Her Excellency Ms. Regine Lamur, Ambassador of the Republic of Haiti; His Excellency Mr. Ángel Martín Peccis, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain; His Excellency Mr. Boniface Vignon, Ambassador of the Republic of Benin; H.E. Ms. Maria de Lourdes Batista Mendoça Taborda Embalo, Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau; H.E. Mr. Shibru Mamo Kedida, Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia; H.E. Ms. Nana Yuliana, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia; and H.E. Mr. Mahamadou Diagouraga, Ambassador of the Republic of Mali.

According to a Cubaminrex report, shortly before this event, the Cuban leader spoke virtually with His Excellency Mr. Jörundur Valtýsson, Ambassador of Iceland; His Excellency Mr. Viliami Va'inga Tone, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Tonga; and His Excellency Mr. Sidi Mohamed Laghdaf, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, via a virtual ceremony at the headquarters of the Cuban mission to the United Nations.
