Since September 11, voices have raised and articles have been written multiple times in the United States to ask what the official reasons are behind the attacks perpetrated by Muslim terrorists under the command of Osama bin Laden.

Some questions raise doubt: Why, when the United States killed Bin Laden in Pakistani territory years later, did his corpse disappear and there is no record that such event took place?

Why didn't the United States capture him alive, so that he could give his testimony for all the terrorist acts he was accused of? What the United States wanted to keep out of the public light in case Bin Laden was arrested and brought to trial, as the United States rules say he should be?

Is it that the "crusade against terrorism" plan, invented by President George W. Bush, was foreseen before and only needed a "pretext" to involve the Arabs?

Now, 21 years later, an article by Paul Craig Roberts, undersecretary of the Treasury during the Ronald Reagan administration and associate editor of the Wall Street Journal, states that there has never been an official investigation by the U.S. government into what happened to the Twin Towers.

Authorities of the United States claim the attacks were carried out by 19 Al-Qaeda terrorists, 15 of them Saudi nationals. However, many experts and independent researchers raise doubts about this version, and believe that rogue elements, such as former Vice President Dick Cheney, orchestrated or at least encouraged the attacks to accelerate the U.S. war machine and promote the Zionist agenda, notes the article quoted by HispanTV.

According to Paul Craig Roberts, scientists, architects and engineers who rejected the official narrative were labeled "conspiracy theorists"; but the efforts of the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth collective have convinced more and more Americans that the official story was false over time.

Craig explains it was obvious for him from the beginning that the 9/11 was an inside job, a false flag event attributed to Muslims to justify two decades of a "war on terror," the purpose of which was to destroy Israel's opponents in West Asia, he argued.

Roberts denounce that what the U.S. government was quick to destroy all evidence, instead of conducting an investigation. In this regard, he claims that the huge steel beams from the towers, clearly cut at an angle by high-temperature explosives, were quickly collected, over the objections of the fire chiefs, and shipped out of the country to dispose of evidence.

Another question: if no Afghans were involved in the aforementioned attacks on the Twin Towers, why did George W. Bush invade and occupy Afghanistan, and remain there for 20 years, at a cost of thousands of Afghan civilians killed, and rising poverty levels in a nation among the most affected by that scourge in the world?

The same can be asked of Iraq, a nation that had nothing to do with the actions of September 11 in the United States, and which was invaded, savagely bombed and occupied, with the toll of more than a million people killed, wounded or maimed.

It is worth remembering, on a date like this, what US General Wesley Clark, former supreme commander of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) said in 2007 in an interview in which he assured that the purpose of the 9/11 attack was to wipe out in five years the governments of these seven countries: Iraq, Syria, Somalia, Libya, Sudan, Yemen and Iran.

What a coincidence, then, these nations have been directly or indirectly targets of U.S. aggression.

In any case, the wounds open from that September 11, 2001 remain unhealed to the present day, and the many questions about the truth of what happened there, and about who organized and carried it out, continue to be an unanswered.
