The 4th International Exhibition Cubaindustria 2024 becomes an opportunity to identify and materialize business projects in the sector, which are sustainable productively and financially, said Ernesto Cedeño Rodríguez, deputy minister of Industries, at the opening of the event.
He added that these businesses will allow a better use of the available installed capacities, in order to increase national production according to the needs of the strategic sectors, production and exports.
In the exhibition, which covers some 4,000 square meters, there is a sample of products and services of more than 520 exhibitors, both domestic and foreign. Representing the national industry are all the business groups, the Union of Military Industries, the Mariel Special Development Zone and non-state forms of management.
During the fair, said Cedeño Rodríguez, the 3rd Design Forum will be held, in which the potentialities of that activity and the direct link with innovation for development will be exposed.
After the opening ceremony, the First Secretary of the Party Central Committee and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, accompanied by the member of the Political Bureau and Prime Minister, Manuel Marrero Cruz, toured the industrial exhibition, with particular interest in the production of basic necessities for the population, containers and packaging, electric vehicles, among other productions.
