While exchanging with Li Shulei, member of the Political Bureau and Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the People's Republic of China, and head of its Publicity Department; the member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Party and President of the Cuban Parliament, Esteban Lazo Hernández, ratified the solid ties between both countries.
"A visit, in the midst of this situation, is one more expression of the deep ties of unbreakable friendship that exist between the Communist Party of China and that of Cuba and, likewise, between our peoples," he meant.
He referred to the relevance of the 6th Theoretical Seminar held in Havana, as a fundamental space to forge cooperation alliances. "I want to reiterate the importance and usefulness of the theoretical seminars to exchange experiences on the construction of socialism on the tenth anniversary of the beginning of this inter-party practice," he added.
Li Shulei, together with a large delegation of party leaders, spoke about the mutually beneficial cooperation and the progress of experience exchange.
He expressed how, "under the strategic leadership of Xi Jinping and Díaz-Canel, the links between both Parties and countries are being promoted, with a very smooth progress based on a deep communication on strategic issues for Cuba and China,"
