Closely linked to the end of World War II, the relocation of persecuted Jews in Europe, under the auspices of the UN, found refuge in Palestinian lands, the place to which they were taken for their protection.
Days, perhaps weeks, after that action, the foundations of Zionist ideology began to be implemented: the exclusion of the Palestinians and the occupation of their lands by the Jews.
From then on, the seeds of a war were sown, a war that is the same—with more fascist nuances today—as the one Israel is waging today against the Gaza Strip, the Arabs of the occupied West Bank, and which it is extending to neighboring Lebanon, where it bombs daily, murdering children and women and destroying homes, schools, hospitals—everything.
In this sense, with the creation of the State of Israel on May 14th, 1948, a tree was already growing whose crooked trunk has yielded neither flowers nor fruit, but rather wars, bombings, exclusion, and death for Palestinians, Arabs, and Iranians as a whole.
But Israel, in its journey through the world, first needed to acquire a nuclear weapon, which it obtained with the collaboration of France. On September 17th, 1956, Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Peres and French authorities reached a tentative agreement in Paris to sell Israel a small nuclear research reactor, which would be built in Dimona to supply uranium fuel.
It was the beginning of a truth denied, even to this day, but which achieved Tel Aviv's desired objective: to obtain a nuclear weapon.
Hidden behind a vast web of lies, exploiting the cracks in an increasingly vilified and less credible international policy, Israel, according to the most recent data, is estimated to possess an arsenal ranging from 90 to 400 nuclear warheads.
According to some sources, it is believed to have the capacity to launch these devices from aircraft, cruise missiles, submarines, or intermediate-range to intercontinental ballistic missiles.
With this capability, successive U.S. administrations sheltered the Zionist state under their protection, so that, while feeling militarily strong, it could become what it is today: a spearhead for U.S. administrations in their plans to seize the abundant oil and other minerals in the region.
This process of Israel under the U.S. umbrella is the fundamental reason why fascist Zionism carries out the massive massacres against the Palestinian population and the bombings of Lebanon and Iran.
Israeli arms development bears the "Made in USA" label, making the Jewish state one of the biggest beneficiaries and American taxpayers the most affected.
It should always be remembered that the military-industrial complex is one of the pillars supporting the North American economy.
In light of the most recent attacks against the Islamic Republic of Iran, many have incredulously claimed that the Trump administration was pressured by Israel into committing these horrendous crimes in Iran. I believe the opposite is true: Washington used the credentials of the fascist Benjamin Netanyahu and incorporated him into a conflict as irresponsible as it is criminal, one that endangers the Middle East region and the world as a whole.
Zionism, with its philosophy of exclusion, has done nothing but eliminate the Palestinian population, occupy their lands, seize their olive groves, and build settlements where Arab populations lived or still live.
Today, the State of Israel, and its Zionist practices, is determined to eliminate every last Palestinian from the face of the Earth, whether child, young person, or elderly person, woman or man.
In this chaotic situation, Palestinian emigration abroad, or to areas different from where they have lived, has been a constant. Millions of human beings are forced to live as outcasts in their own homeland.
Two objectives proceed in parallel: the first, to seize all the lands where Palestinians live, and the second, to promote the construction of Jewish settlements in occupied territories.
But this entire plan has found a protective umbrella in successive U.S. administrations, which not only finance many Israeli plans but also provide all kinds of weapons, and which use their prerogatives as a powerful nation to veto, in the Security Council, any draft resolution that even attempts to achieve a ceasefire in the attacks against the Palestinian population.
