Voices against the provocation and warmongering of the U.S. Government

"The transnational neo-McCarthyism that is being reinstated in the U.S., from a clearly fascist current, resorts to lies to generate pretexts on which to justify aggression against Cuba and curtail civil liberties in the U.S.," said Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and President of the Republic, regarding the report "Cuba, the Capital of Communism in the 21st Century," published this Monday by the U.S. State Department.
Faced with the fallacious document that attempts—without arguments or evidence—to strip Washington of its hard-won terrorist label and place it on Havana, a victim of this type of crime for decades, voices from around the world are rising up to remind the empire who the real threat is.
One of these pronouncements comes from the United States itself. Congresswoman Delia Ramirez stated, via social media, that: "Secretary Rubio’s deranged ‘analysis’ omits the fact that for more than six decades, U.S. policies have destabilized our neighbors in Latin America—including Cuba—through sanctions, embargoes, military coups, territorial control, and colonization. Today, the Trump State Department, led by Rubio, continues this imperialist tradition while doing what authoritarians do by criminalizing dissent. U.S. foreign policy is responsible for death, destruction, and destabilization. We can change that. Yes, we can become good neighbors."
For its part, the Cuban Americans for Cuba group, made up of citizens of Cuban origin, issued a statement rejecting the text, condemning it and calling it "an act of provocation and warmongering."
Likewise, it emphasizes that "it lacks solid evidence and abounds in generic language that raises serious doubts about how and for whom it was prepared."
Furthermore, it expresses its opposition to the blockade maintained by the U.S. government against the island, and asserts that Cuba poses no threat to the American people, while advocating for dialogue and urging an end to the economic embargo.
Meanwhile, the Cuban Community Residing in Nicaragua strongly rejected the accusations made by the U.S. government against Cuba and denounced them as an attempt to justify further aggression, according to a statement shared on social media.
According to Prensa Latina, the organization stated that Washington's policy toward Havana is marked by a double standard and questioned U.S. accusations regarding Cuba's alleged ties to left-wing radicalism and subversive activities, arguing that
Washington lacks the moral authority to make such accusations.
They warned that the attempt to fabricate public opinion against Cuba could serve as a prelude to justifying further, more significant actions. "To the imperialists and traitors abroad who clamor for invasions and sanctions, we warn you that you are mistaken once again," the statement declared.
