The Council of State - in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Cuba and Electoral Law 72, of October 29, 1992 - has scheduled partial elections to choose delegates to the municipal assemblies of People’s Power.
These elections, during which delegates will be chosen to the Municipal Assemblies of People’s Power for a term of two and a half years, will be held April 19, 2015, with a second round voting taking place on April 26, 2015, in those constituencies in which no candidate obtains more than 50 percent of valid votes.
