All births take place in health institutions, with the mother receiving special care during her pregnancy, including a tetanus booster, which prevents the baby from contracting the illness during the birthing process, that is to say, when the umbilical cord it cut. There is much to be said about the elimination of inherited social inequalities.
The efforts of the Revolution solved the land problem through the Agrarian Reform, in addition to reducing rents, the price of medicine, electricity, telephone service and many others.
Of special importance were the efforts realized in regards to education, which began with the great literacy campaign, on the basis of which would later come what has been achieved to date: a genuine cultural revolution, with more than one million university graduates and more than 50 higher learning institutions.
