Today, April 21, Cuba’s First Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, received Governor Andrew Cuomo from the state of New York, who is leading a delegation of businesspeople to our country.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the updating of Cuba’s economic model, Cuba-U.S. relations, and prospects for developing ties between the state of New York and Cuba.
Also present were Josefina Vidal Ferreiro, the Ministry of Foreign Relation’s general director for the United States, and other officials from the ministry.
