HAVANA.— The Second International Conference: A New Stage for Political Communication in the Digital Environment 2015, will be held from June 5-7 in the capital’s Convention Center.
The event, organized by Cuba’s Ministry of Foreign Relations will see the participation of experts from around 30 countries and various international organizations. It is also taking place during the 10th anniversary of the World Summit on the Information Society.
The objective of this international conference is to discuss the development of information and telecommunications technologies (ICT) and their impact on international relations, as well as political communication in the digital arena.
It also aims to formulate proposals on important regional and global issues, such as countries’ technological and cultural sovereignty, cyber security and Internet governance, among others.
