
The exhibition, De Jardines del Rey Vengo, examining the achievements made in different spheres of the economy, culture and society in general in the province of Ciego de Ávila, will feature from July 22-26 in Havana’s Expocuba center.
The exhibition, held to commemorate the 62nd anniversary of the attacks on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes barracks, aims to contribute to increased export funds and import substitution, and will see the participation of 30 companies and other entities from the territory.
The Central Pavilion will see exhibtion areas on health, light industry and the food sector, as well as education, culture and sports. The project includes a daily program of cultural and recreational activities, and a wide range of industrial products, canned fruits and vegetables, brushes, brooms, other plastic products, dairy produce, smoked meats, herbal medicines, ceramic and metal objects and varied lines from the Fondo de Bienes Culturales, Artex and ETECSA, among other products typical of Ciego de Ávila.
The Expocuba permanent pavilions of government agencies and business groups will continue to function simultaneously, as well as the gastronomic network, the amusement park and other usual services, with increased offers and attractions for children, youth, adults and families as part of the summer program.
Saturday and Sunday will see an agricultural fair, while Sunday evening will close with a concert by Arnaldo y su Talismán.
