Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, President of the Councils of State and Ministers, sent congratulations to the CDR leadership and all members across the country to mark the 55th anniversary of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution, founded on September 28 by the leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz.
In his message sent from New York, where he is undertaking an intensive agenda at the United Nations, Raúl recognized the work of the largest mass organization in the country.
In the message to the more than 8,500,000 CDR members, grouped into over 136,000 CDRs, the Army General stressed the commitment of the people in defense of their Revolution.
