On the morning of November 4, Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, a Council of Ministers vice president, received the honorable Stanley M. Palm, minister of Economic Development of Curacao, on an official visit to the country, leading a business delegation to the Havana International Trade Fair.

During the meeting, which took place in a fraternal atmosphere, the two officials discussed the potential to expand and strengthen ties between Cuba and Curacao especially in regards to economic and trade relations across spheres such as tourism, maritime-port services, sports, health, trade, renewable energy, food and agriculture, and finance.

The distinguished visitor was accompanied by Gwido Jansen, policy advisor. Participating on the Cuban side were Lissette Pérez Pérez, Minrex director for Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean; and Nélida Guerra Moreira, Mincex deputy director for European Trade Policy.
