Yesterday, November 16, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, President of Cuba’s Councils of State and Ministers, visited the French embassy in Havana to sign the condolences book there, and extend the solidarity of the Cuban people to families of those who died in the terrorist attacks which occurred in Paris, November 13.

Raúl wrote, “In the name of the Cuban people and government, I wish to reiterate, to the people and government of France, our most heartfelt condolences and solidarity, extended to the families of the numerous victims of the atrocious terrorist attacks this past November 13, which we strongly condemn.”

The Cuban President was received by Guy Christophe, interim chargé de affaires, who thanked him for his presence at the diplomatic mission.

Accompanying Raúl were Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, a Council of Ministers vice president, and Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla.
