
HAVANA.— Organizers of a second international conference on the ideas of José Martí are emphasizing the continuing relevance of the Cuban national hero’s ethics, which will be the focus of debate and analysis by intellectuals from 44 countries at the upcoming event.
Héctor Hernández Pardo, deputy director of the Martí Project Office, announced in a press conference that, to date, 400 international delegates and 200 Cubans have confirmed their participation in the conference co-sponsored by UNESCO, scheduled for January 25-28.
