As previously announced, on Friday March 25 at 8:30 pm, legendary British rock band the Rolling Stones are scheduled to play a free concert in the areas surrounding Havana’s Ciudad Deportiva.
The public will be able to access the performance area as of 2:00 p.m. via the streets Primelles and Santa Catalina.
Light refreshments will be available to purchase on streets Santa Catalina and Vía Blanca. However, the public is advised to bring food, water, sweets and other snacks with them.
The public is prohibited from purchasing, selling or entering the concert space with alcohol.
Traffic flow management on the day and a reinforced transport service to and from the Ciudad Deportiva have been organized by the Ministry of Transport and the General Directorate of the National Revolutionary Police.
The Rolling Stones, their production team, and the Cuban Music Institute have received the support of various Central State Administration bodies and government organizations in the capital, in order to offer the Cuban public a spectacular show, one of the most technologically complex to take place in the country.
We are absolutely sure that the Cuban people - well versed in global culture - will participate with the enthusiasm and the discipline which characterizes us.
