Ulises Rosales del Toro, a vice president of the Council of Ministers, received the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, African Integration and Nigeriens Abroad of the Republic of Niger, His Excellency Ibrahim Yacoubou, November 8, during an official visit to Cuba.
In a friendly atmosphere, the two officials welcomed the positive progress of bilateral relations and reiterated the will to promote their continued strengthening in the interest and benefit of their respective peoples. They likewise addressed current international affairs.
The distinguished visitor was accompanied by Her Excellency Aminatou Batoure Gaoh, ambassador of Niger to Cuba; Rahimou Adamou Abdoul Rahamane, technical advisor to the Minister; Issa Tankari Boubacar, director for Europe, the Americas and Oceania, and Garba Hanouberi Rainatou, director of Information, Documentation and Diplomatic Archives of the Nigerien Foreign Ministry.
Participating on the Cuban side were Sidenio Acosta Aday, director a.i of Sub-Saharan Africa, and other officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
