Seven people have reportedly died and two are missing in the provinces of Ciego de Ávila, Sancti Spíritus, Villa Clara, Matanzas, and Pinar del Río, after heavy rains and flooding caused by Subtropical Storm Alberto hit Cuba, according to information from the National Civil Defense Chief of Staff.

Missing:

Alejandro Enrique Cumbrera Pérez, from Bayamo, Granma, disappeared on the Arimao River, Manicaragua, Villa Clara. CI: 0092879681

Ricardo Perdomo González, disappeared in Chambas, Ciego de Ávila. CI: 67051407662
