Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, President of Cuba’s Councils of State and Ministers, is making a working visit to the province of Holguín, and among his stops was the Antilla tourist pole, where he discussed progress on the construction program underway there, noting that what is being done will improve living conditions and provide opportunities for many.

In the municipality of Mayari, he took an interest in a rice processing facility, where more than 2,000 tons have been handled, since its inauguration in 2014.

The President’s tour in Birán included the Castro Ruz family gravesite, the rural school where Fidel first studied, as well as one of the houses where he spoke with members of the historic site’s staff.
