Yesterday morning, March 20, the president of our country’s Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermúdez, accompanied by Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, in a solemn ceremony received His Excellency Mr. Sahebzada Ahmed Khan, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan; HE Mr. Kazuhiro Fujimura, Ambassador of Japan; HE Mr. Aboubacar Sidiki Camara, Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea; HE Mr. Frédéric Edem Hegbe, Ambassador of the Togolese Republic; HE Mr. Asfaw Dingamo Kame, Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia; HE Ms. Milica Pejanović-Đurišić, Ambassador of Montenegro; HE Mr. Satyendra Prasad, Ambassador of the Republic of Fiji; HE Mr. Eltayeb Abuelgassim Fadul Abuelgassim, Ambassador of the Republic of the Sudan; and to HE Ms. Acheng Joy Ruth, ambassador of the Republic of Uganda.The diplomats presented documents that accredit them as the new ambassadors of their respective countries in Cuba. Following each ceremony, the heads of mission laid a wreath before the Monument to José Martí, in Havana’s Plaza de la Revolución.
