Communist Party of Cuba Political Bureau member and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, yesterday July 26, denounced an attack on the Cuban embassy in France, and condemned the U.S. government’s promotion of vandalism in its campaigns attempting to discredit the island’s government.
"We denounce the terrorist attack with Molotov cocktails on our embassy in Paris," the Foreign Minister posted on his Twitter account, and in the same message argued that the White House bears direct responsibility for the act given "the continuous U.S. campaign against our country that encourages such behavior with calls for violence made from their territory with impunity."
The attack, a gross violation of international law, is part of the desperate effort being made by enemies of the Revolution to present to the world a Cuba in chaos, which only exists on social networks and in reports from media outlets financed by the powers interested in subverting the public order in Cuba, which, continue to spread false reports of an alleged social explosion here. The Foreign Minister denied such claims, noting, "Cuba is in total calm."
