Cuba awakes today to the beauty of more new beginnings, always resilient in the face of adversity.
As planned, Minister of Education Ena Elsa Velázquez Cobiella welcomed a new academic year today at several levels of our public education system: basic secondary, pre-university, technical and professional schools, as well as pedagogical institutions, plus youth and adult continuing education.
The primary education school year, she recalled, will open March 14, for a term that will end November 19.
