The Belarusian Health Ministry's Center for Expertise and Testing authorized on Tuesday, the use of Soberana Plus in that country, one more proof of the quality of Cuban vaccines against COVID-19 and of the prestige of the Island's science in the world.
Belarus thus became the first nation in Europe to grant Health Registration to the Cuban immunogen, informed the Finlay Vaccine Institute (IFV), creator of the vaccine.
At the ceremony, the director of the Belarusian health organization Dmitry Vladimirovich pointed out that the registration card of the Soberana Plus vaccine in his country was dated July 26, in honor of Cuba's National Rebellion Day, the Cuba scientific organization reported.
According to Prensa Latina news agecy, one of the copies of the certificate of approval for the use of Soberana Plus was also handed over to Olga Jacobo, director of Cuba's Center for State Control of Medicines, Equipment and Medical Devices, and to Vicente Vérez Bencomo, general director of the IFV.
The second document was received by the Cuban ambassador in Minsk, Santiago Perez, as a sign of the expansion of bilateral ties between Belarus and Cuba.
