The note points out that investment attraction this year in the Zone, specifically in energy and food production, is higher than in previous periods, despite the country’s complex situation and the world economic crisis.

At present, the ZEDM has 63 approved projects, including one concessionaire, 39 in operations and seven reinvestments, according to the Zone’s Business Director, Oscar Pérez-Oliva.
