The 24th International Crafts and Gifts Fair, Fiart 2022, under the slogan Art, Utility and Trade, will take place from December 10 to 20 at the Pabexpo fairgrounds and at the Cultural Station of Linea and 18, with the presence of 91 stands from nine countries and 172 nationals, after two years of forced stop due to COVID-19.

Organized by the Cuban Fund for Cultural Goods (FCBC), the event will devote its commercial space and its theoretical sessions -where Alfredo Sosabravo will be honored- to recycling in the different handicraft manifestations. The Business Fair, the promotion and commercializatio of handmade food products for the first time, the rescue of fashion catwalks, an art auction and its extension to three Havana neighborhoods: the Petrocasas del Cotorro on the 11th and 18th; La Corbata, in Playa on the 11th, and in La Timba, Plaza de la Revolución on the 18th.

The official inauguration and the awarding of prizes for life's work will be held on the 9th at Pabexpo. One day later and until December 20, the fair will open its doors to the public from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Admission will cost 25 pesos and all sales will be in Cuban pesos. Disabled persons, children, pregnant women and students will pay half price. The Fiart 2022 awards will be announced on the 17th, and on the 19th the Federation of University Students (FEU in Spanish) will be honored on its centenary.

More than 15 representatives of the new economic productive forms existing in the country will be present, which will also make the 24th Fiart 2022 an end-of-year gift for the people and in salute to the new anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution.
