The digital transformation and the cooperation of all agents involved in this process will be the focus of the 19th International Convention and Fair Informática and the 3rd International Colloquium Patria, which begin today in Havana, at the Pabexpo fairgrounds.
Informática 2024, which will also be held at the Convention Palace, will discuss the importance of the use of the capabilities provided by information and communication technologies.
More than 1,000 delegates from 16 countries will discuss Cuba's technological work and world trends at the Convention until March 22.
For the first time, all economic actors of society will be represented.
Under the organizational seal of the Union of Journalists of Cuba and within the framework of the Press Day, Patria will be a space for analysis and discussions on the need for a new economic and informational order.
It will address issues related to sovereign technologies that can be shared among developing countries, as well as innovative thinking and creative capacities.
Panels and conferences will approach artificial intelligence from the point of view of left-wing thinkers and political-communication activists, with emphasis on the political, legal and communicational dimension.
A novelty: the Colloquium will be open to the national and international public.
