The truth of the revolutionaries has all the possibilities of being defended with love, tenderness and beauty. Because it is the truth that most resembles the human being in his eagerness to emancipate himself and to be a brother to his fellow men.
Perhaps that certainty that inspires those of us who live to break lances for the other, is one of the traces that has shone most brightly in these hours of the 3rd International Colloquium Patria, which has been held in Havana since last Monday.
Whenever sensitivity and intelligence come together in large doses, there is an inevitable intensity of emotions. This was the case again this Tuesday afternoon at the Palace of the Revolution, when the country's leadership welcomed the protagonists of the Colloquium.
The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, confessed, at the end of a day in which different voices were heard, that they, the communicators who came to the Greater of the Antilles from different parts of the world, had provoked in the meeting a real "emotional charge".
In an exchange that was attended by members of the Political Bureau Roberto Morales Ojeda, Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Party, and Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Cuban Foreign Minister, the Head of State told the thinkers: "Thank you all for being in Cuba".
On the day -in which were present the member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee and head of its Ideological Department, Rogelio Polanco Fuentes, and the president of the Union of Journalists of Cuba, Ricardo Ronquillo Bello-, Díaz-Canel told the intellectuals: "We need to meet with you, communicate with you".
