Building a country where diversity of criteria and colors converge, and being part of that positive and necessary change, is on the agenda of the 12th Congress of the Young Communist League (UJC).
After intense months of exchanges on how the youth can revolutionize themselves and continue with the legacy of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, the conclave that brings together multitudes officially begins today.
"Create your happiness" -the motto of the Congress- will never be an insipid slogan for the young representatives of a firm Cuba, which is looking for new ways of doing things, based on unity.
With 400 delegates and hundreds of guests, as part of the activities of the event, working commissions will meet to discuss the organic functioning of the UJC, the policy of cadres, productive economy, social policies, defense of the Homeland, and there will be collateral spaces to denounce the unjust blockade.
Knowing how to participate in the construction of socialism is another premise that defends the youth that claims every day, because they know that the challenges they face are not enough, but that the Revolution is about dreaming and creating inclusive and progressive initiatives.
