It is a duty to think about Cuba and not lose sight of the ways in which each space of it can function better. That is why the country's leadership visited, yesterday, several municipalities of the country, that small homeland where the welfare of the people is decided.
The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, and the Secretary of Organization, Roberto Morales Ojeda, toured the municipalities of Contramaestre and Jiguaní -in Santiago de Cuba and Granma, respectively-, where they learned about the alternatives promoted by several productive centers to guarantee food for the people.
The president of the National Assembly of People's Power, Esteban Lazo Hernández, held a meeting with farmers from the Santana farm, of the Manuel Piti Fajardo credit and services cooperative, in the municipality of Camagüey.
Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz checked the execution of important social works in Gibara, Holguín.
Vice President Salvador Valdés Mesa emphasized in Ciego de Avila the importance of generalizing the advances in the reproduction of the black soldier fly, due to its remarkable benefits as animal feed and biofertilizer.
Revolutionary Commander Ramiro Valdés Menéndez, vice prime minister, reviewed important industrial programs and the development of other projects related to import substitution in Santa Clara.
