Santiago de Cuba-The Vice-President of the Government of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Nikolaevich Chernyshenko, arrived Wednesday night at the Antonio Maceo Grajales International Airport, in Santiago de Cuba, to begin an official visit to the country, as part of which he will carry out a broad program designed to strengthen the excellent state of intergovernmental relations.
The Russian leader, and the delegation accompanying him, were received at the slab of the airport terminal by the member of the Central Committee of the Party and its first secretary in the province, Beatriz Johnson Urrutia; by the governor of Santiago de Cuba, Manuel Falcón Hernández; and Oscar Pérez-Oliva Fraga, minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, as well as by the ambassador of the Eurasian giant in the largest of the Antilles, Victor V. Koronelli.
During his stay in the Hero City, the Vice-President of the Russian Government will visit sites of historical interest and, later, he will travel to the capital of the country to develop an agenda that includes exchanges with the leadership of the Cuban State and Government.
