CIEGO DE ÁVILA.-To achieve that the program conceived here, in salute to July 26th, "continues beating in each neighborhood, popular council, municipality and throughout the province; that each work is executed with sustainability, quality, culture of detail and on the basis of the optimal use of resources" became a call, yesterday, by Roberto Morales Ojeda, Member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Party, in a visit to the territory.
Motivated by the progress made since the previous contact, Morales Ojeda considered that the vast majority of the people from Ciego de Ávila should feel encouraged by his results, which made possible the granting of the central headquarters for the 72nd anniversary of the assault to the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks, in July 1953.
He also urged to maintain the same drive in the future, in accordance with the decision of "not losing a single day" towards 2026, when Cuba will celebrate the centenary of the birth of the Commander-in-Chief, the 95th anniversary of Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, and the 9th Party Congress, among other important events.
For the audience it was also clear the value of an effective political propaganda, combining resources and intelligence of the nation, the province and the collectives in each place, as well as emphasizing the work in digital social networks so that the world knows the Cuban reality.
He also commented that the work of decorating, cleaning and beautification is contagious to everyone who visits or travels through Ciego de Ávila. For that reason, he instructed to carry out "an act full of joy, patriotism, optimism, confidence and color".
Among the places visited was La Cuba, an agricultural enterprise that should reach 26 with 2,800 hectares planted with plantain -surpassing its best record, 2,700 hectares in 2008-, and continue growing.
"This is the way forward -he affirmed-; what we have seen here stimulates; it is also an excellent gift to the people of Avila and demonstrates what the socialist state enterprise can do, chained with the other productive forms, and using its resources well".
