OFFICIAL VOICE OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY OF CUBA CENTRAL COMMITTEE

With the aim of evaluating the actions taken by the country in the face of the immense challenges we face, the Party's highest governing body between Congresses is convening its 11th Plenary Session on December 12 and 13, at which important issues affecting the nation's socioeconomic and political life will be analyzed.

The 11th Plenary Session will evaluate the implementation of the Government Program to correct distortions and boost the economy, which has been under review and debate since November 15 and will continue until December 30. It will also analyze the economic objectives and goals for 2026 and the proposed State Budget for next year.

The members of the Central Committee will also discuss the damage caused by Hurricane Melissa and the progress of recovery in the eastern provinces, as well as the situation of the effects of previous natural events.

As is customary at these meetings, the Political Bureau will report on its work and the main decisions taken at this stage, in the midst of the organizational process for the 9th Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba, scheduled for April 16-19, 2026, the year in which we will celebrate the centenary of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
