"For years, the U.S. has obstructed fuel supplies to Cuba and is now applying a fierce blockade to them."
This is what Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla stated on his Twitter account. He also denounced that "the U.S. economic war against Cuba has, for more than 67 years, fulfilled its purpose of limiting the country's performance, affecting the economy, hindering productive development, cutting off sources of income, and denying access to markets and technology."
Rodríguez Parrilla emphasized that "an asymmetric, abusive, and ruthless aggression like this is unnecessary against a government deemed incompetent."
"The U.S. is resorting to this brutal onslaught because it is aware of the strength of the government under attack, the viability of its socialist system, and, above all, its demonstrated commitment to social justice and solidarity," he concluded.
