The president affirmed that "we will always watch over our children, even in the most difficult times."
As a beautiful reminder of the Commander-in-Chief, Díaz-Canel also wrote:
"On Children’s Day in Cuba, we remember that the idea came from a giant of a pioneer, who more than once let someone tie his neckerchief while he chatted with Cuban pioneers."
