Because that's where it comes from, from the heart, that place where exceptional beings are sown, those who live more for others than for themselves, those who make the pain of others their own, those who don't ask for justice, but fight for it until their last breath, those who always believe in triumph, not in luck, but in the value of infinite sacrifice to achieve it.
When a people has such a son, such a brother, such a father, it utterly refuses to let him fade into the eternal mists of time, and transforms him into sun, into sky, and grants him the privilege of enduring because he can, because he wants to, and no one can deny him that right.
Whoever wins the heart of a people does so once and for all, because noble and courageous peoples are also grateful, sincere, reciprocal, and incapable of forgetting.
