"We will go again to the neighborhoods, especially to those where the genre is cultivated, where the oral transmission, legacy of Africanness dwells, where we will send a message of awareness about the importance of this legacy and of the values, emotions and feelings that are transmitted through the musical heritage that has musical instruments as a vehicle," he explained.
The program of the festival consists of concerts, shows, dance lessons, visits to historical sites, colloquiums, meetings with emblematic characters, oral narrations, plastic arts and handicrafts, among others. In this opportunity will emphasize the performance of Cuban batá drums, with the intention of having them declared Cultural Heritage of the Nation.
