The cry of ¡Viva Cuba! that was heard in the International Press Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the voice of the members of the National Union of Cuban Artists and Writers (UNEAC), the Hermanos Saíz Association of Young Cuban Artists (AHS), the National Union of Cultural Workers and the Ministry of Culture and their institutions, sounded with the force of a whirlwind of love and patriotism when their gathered to denounce the acts of aggression against the Buena Fe duo on their tour in Spain.

After the cry, Buena Fe's song La fuerza de un país (The strength of a country) was heard, performed by the Mariana de Gonitch Singing Academy, together with the project Las Voces, to give way to a text presented by troubadour Marta Campos, in which Cuban artists "denounce the aggression against Buena Fe in Spain, which has escalated to physical violence."

The document condemns the promoters of hatred, counterrevolutionaries backed by the fascist forces of Europe and the ultra-right wing in Miami, with the complicity and financing of the U.S. Government, and holds the managers responsible "with the physical integrity of our colleagues. We reject the crude and illegitimate attempt to usurp the sacred name of the Homeland, with the purpose of attacking Cuban culture and the freedom to enjoy the performances of our artists."

He called on "all artists and writers of the world and all men and women of good will to oppose this attack against culture and freedom; to support Buena Fe and all our comrades, subjected to constant aggression from the haters, whose maneuvers will never prevent true Cuban art from continuing to be acclaimed anywhere in the world.

"The weapons that we artists possess, our song to beauty and poetry" will be the weapons against "hatred, from the commitment to national independence, sovereignty, animated by a deep-rooted anti-imperialism" reads the text.
