Preparations are underway to re-launch the successful Telesur program’s second season with two programs broadcast live from Havana, 8:30 pm local time, January 10 and 11.

Granma spoke with Félix López, one of those responsible for production, learning that the one hour format will continue, with guest appearances by players and coaches, including members of Cuba’s football team which won a bronze medal in the recent Veracruz Central American and Caribbean Games. The show’s graphic imagery and set has been renovated, with new animated segments and cultural vignettes.

The big change is that the second season will be composed of a traveling De Zurda, broadcast from different countries - Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina… arriving in Chile in July for the Copa América 2015, for which the show will return to a daily schedule.

During the first season, in June and July, while the Brazil 2014 World Cup competition was underway, the program welcomed a number of illustrious guests, including Ecuador’s President Rafael Correa, and football stars like Brazil’s Roberto Rivelinho, Colombian Carlos Valderrama and Hugo Sánchez from Mexico.
