
Gymnastics, in its different modalities, already knows its way towards the Pan American Games of Santiago de Chile-2023.
Mexico will host the trampoline and rhythmic gymnastics events. The first will take place from April 9 to 14, in Monterrey, in which Cuba should participate with Brandis Banteur and Jardiel Crespo.
Meanwhile, rhythmic gymnastics will hold its continental tournament in Guadalajara, from June 5 to 11. According to Jit journal, Cuba will participate in individual and team events.
Gretel Mendoza, Thalia Torres, Keyla Miranda and Isabella Rojas, in the individual modality, are training in the Russian resort of Sochi, where they have worked with their coach Nely Ochoa on the adjustment of the programs, the technical details with the different apparatuses, as well as ballet classes, among other aspects, according to Jit.
On the other hand, complete artistic gymnastics teams, in both sexes, will seek their tickets to the Chilean capital, in the Colombian city of Medellin, from May 22 to 28.
It is worth remembering that Cuba has qualified in these three modalities for the Central American and Caribbean Games of San Salvador-2023. They will also take part in the 5th ALBA Games, in Venezuela
