This morning, Tuesday March 17, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, President of Cuba’s Councils of State and Ministers arrived in Venezuela to participate in an Extraordinary Summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (Alba), called in solidarity with the sister people of this country, in the wake of U.S. sanctions and an executive order issued by President Obama labeling Venezuela a threat U.S. national security.
The Cuban delegation accompanying the President includes Foreign Minister Bruno Eduardo Rodríguez Parrilla; Deputy Foreign Minister Rogelio Sierra Díaz, and Cuba’s ambassador in Venezuela, Rogelio Polanco Fuentes.
