Mr. President:
It is with deep sorrow that we learned of the attack carried out at a nightclub in the city of Orlando, Florida, which caused a lamentable loss of human life and left dozens injured.
I convey the most heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Cuban people and government to the people and government of the United States, in particular to those affected by this tragedy and families of the victims.
I reiterate to you that Cuba explicitly rejects and condemns all acts of terrorism and hate anywhere, under any circumstance, and for whatever reason.
