
NEW YORK.-At the stroke of noon, the President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, met with Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, as part of the collateral activities of leaders gathered at the United Nations.

Sánchez, also secretary-general of the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party, took office as head of the Spanish government in June 2018.

The Cuban President likewise held a meeting with Mauricio Macri, president of Argentina since December 10, 2015.
