Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, and the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, congratulated the people and government of Nicaragua, on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the Sandinista Revolution.
"On behalf of our Party, the Cuban people and government, we extend our warmest congratulations on the 42nd anniversary of the triumph of the Sandinista Revolution," states the missive sent to President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo.
"Marti and Fidel’s socialist Cuba, with our irrevocable commitment to solidarity and internationalism, will continue marching alongside the sister Nicaraguan people, who, with your guidance and flying the flags of Sandinismo, face the challenges of socio-economic development under very difficult conditions, given constant hostile interference by imperialism.
You have our support in continuing to strengthen the historic bonds of brotherhood that unite us," the text stated.
