The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, expressed onn Twitter his support to the Global Civilization Initiative proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping, during the Second High-Level Dialogue between the Communist Party of China and political parties of the world.
The proposal of the Asian leader advocates a program of progress that contemplates the construction of a better planet for future generations, according to the Chinese president at the opening of the meeting, quoted by Xinhua news agency.
He also called for respect for the right of each nation to explore its own path towards modernization, without abandoning cooperation and solidarity.
