OFFICIAL VOICE OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY OF CUBA CENTRAL COMMITTEE

Caracas, Venezuela.— As a consequence of the publication of the web page resultadosconvzla.com, in which "in a notorious and communicative manner alleged forged or falsified documents are published," which derive in the disinformation of the population and with the intention of usurping the functions of the National Electoral Council (CNE), the Venezuelan Public Ministry decided to start a criminal proceeding against those responsible.
The institution informed that those in charge of the publication and maintenance of this page will be investigated for the crimes of usurpation of functions, forgery of public documents, instigation to disobey the laws, computer crimes, association and conspiracy.
Meanwhile, as part of the contentious process requested by Nicolás Maduro, and in order to certify the results of the elections of last July 28, the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) began yesterday the hearings of presidential candidates and political parties.
The candidate Edmundo González Urrutia, summoned for the morning hours, did not appear, although the representatives of the parties supporting him did come to answer before the TSJ.
González Urrutia, who did not know the results of the scrutiny, proclaimed himself President and failed to attend a first hearing last week, stated, through a communiqué in the social network X, that if he were to attend, he would do so in a situation of "absolute vulnerability due to defenselessness and violation of the due process."
Likewise, he questioned the legal validity of the procedures carried out by the highest judicial body of the nation, accusing it of electoral co-administration with the CNE, since he considers that "the procedure carried out by the Electoral Chamber does not correspond to any legal procedure contemplated in the law of the TSJ."
In view of this non-compliance with the electoral summons, the TSJ recorded in the minutes its non-appearance and non-compliance with the due and perfectly practiced summons.
