This was stated yesterday by the Foreign Minister of this nation, Yván Gil, on the social network Threads, on the occasion of the expressions of support from the Island to the popular victory of the Venezuelan people and their right to sovereignty and self-determination.
The ALBA-TCP member states also issued a communiqué rejecting "the false and interventionist OAS resolution on Venezuela's internal affairs”. The document insists that since this South American nation is not a member since 2019, the OAS lacks the authority to "intervene in such a biased way" in the country's affairs.
