The President of the Republic of Seychelles, H.E. Mr. Wavel Ramkalawan, will begin this Monday an official visit to Cuba, which will last until September 20.
As part of the visit, he will hold official talks with the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, as well as meetings with the President of the National Assembly of People's Power, Esteban Lazo Hernández, and with the Minister of Public Health, José Angel Portal Miranda. The president will also visit places of academic, historical and cultural interest, as well as health institutions.
On the occasion, the signing of agreements that will improve the development of political-diplomatic ties and cooperation between the two countries is foreseen.
Cuba and the Republic of Seychelles have long-standing diplomatic relations, established on April 12, 1978, which have been based on friendship, solidarity and cooperation.
